Q: Do you have Bible classes for kids?
When we come together for worship, our congregation gathers in one assembly for teaching and mutual edification (1 Corinthians 14.23). You'll find that there are also occasions during the week in which individual members gather at home or work for private Bible study (Acts 20.20). Contact us if you are interested in participating in a personal / family study!
Q: Is there a dress code?
The Bible teaches that when we come together to worship, we are in the presence of God; therefore, we should conduct ourselves in reverence (Hebrews 12.28-29). One way we display our reverence to God is by the clothing we choose to present ourselves in for worship. When planning your visit, we ask that you choose an outfit that will communicate outwardly your inward reverence and respect for God (cf. 1 Timothy 2.8-9)!
Q: Do you have a pastor?
In the Bible, the titles "elder," "bishop" (overseer) and "pastor" (shepherd) are different descriptions of the same leadership role in a congregation. The Bible gives specific criteria for who is qualified to serve in this office (cf. 1 Timothy 3.1-7; Titus 1.5-9; 1 Peter 5.1-4).
Although this congregation does not currently have pastors/elders, we feel very strongly about fulfilling God's plan for scriptural church leadership and are actively working with an evangelist towards accomplishing this goal (Titus 1.5).
